Thursday Thirteen

Well, I thought I'd do a Thursday Thirteen as well! This week I am going write about thirteen people in my life that are special!

1) My mom-- she and I argue often, but at the end of the day I know she'll always be there.

2) My daddy-- he and I have been through alot the past eight months. But through it all it has only brought us closer.

3) Elizabeth-- I love having her as a friend and mentor. I can go to her for anything and she's there to help!

4) Christina-- I haven't seen her as much as I'd like to have lately, for reasons that are out of all of our control, but I know she is always there to listen at the end of the day if I need her.

5) Heather-- she is such a sweet person and I love spending time with her and her precious babies.

6) Stephie-- I definately haven't seen her as much as I'd like, for the reason of several states+the navy, but she again is always ready and willing to listen or make you laugh!

7) Annie-- her move was tough on her, but it was a gift from God for me. I have grown so close to her and just love times when I get to talk to her.

8) Jamie-- she has grown up so much, but is still the little girl that came RUNNING to me when I walked in the door.

9) Thetas-- I'm grouping them as on because it's the Thursday THIRTEEN not THIRTY! But they are wonderful people who I am glad to call my sisters.

10) Emily-- my birthday twin!! She's like a little sister that I never had and she can always make you laugh!

11) Kally-- it's my post so I can put whoever I'd like, but I love the unconditional love my dog gives me!!

12) Aunts, Uncles and Cousins-- each one holds a place special and dear to my heart. Even if I don't see them as often, they are always there when you need them.

13) Shavonica-- another dear friend separated by the navy, but I love when she calls or I call her and we can pick up our conversation right where we left off! I miss my Shamokina!!

*Disclaimer* If your name is not on this list, you were not forgotten! I love everyone in my life!!

Some people should not own pets!!

On my way home today I see this CUTE little pup walkin down the road. I pull into my driveway and see it sniffing out everyone's yard. Something in my stomach said, he was lost. So I took my groceries in the house-- actually I threw them in so I wouldn't loose the dog! I got back in my car and went and picked him up to see his collar. NO PHONE NUMBER OR ADDRESS!!! So, I put him in and drove around to see if anyone was at the builder's or the office. NOPE! As I came back to my house to call my mom, cuz I didn't know WHAT to do, I see our neighbor across the street. She said the dog belonged to someone at the end of the street. I walk the dog back to the house where the owner opened the door and was shocked I had his dog in my hands. I said I found his dog around and didn't want her to get hurt. His response was "oh, thanks!" I'm sorry, but if my dog was out on the street-- I WOULD KNOW IT!!! I treat my pets like my babies!! And my friends pets as well!! People should have to get a license to be able to own a pet!!

Last Day

So, as you all know I've been watching two little boys this summer. The past few weeks, I've been thinking about how I'm kinda ready to get back to school and the summer to be over. Well, today it officially was. I took the boys to the water park today and we had SOOO much fun. I had to tell Reagan something three times in the car and Alex said "ya know what, let's have a good last day". I thought I was gonna cry! So, we went to Splash Island and had a GREAT day. The boys had SOOO much fun!! I did too! After some Dippin' Dots for the boys and a mini-cryfest over having to leave, we packed up and headed home.

Well, four o'clock came before I know it and I told the boys bye. I did not think I would get so upset, and I'll be watching them in two weeks babysitting, but sure enough, 5 minutes in the car and my eyes were watering!! It's crazy how quick you can fall in love with these children. (I'm starting to worry about the end of each school year when I start teaching!!) But in honor of a "water park day" and since I am Annie's cousin, I thought I should put up a slide-show of some pics of our day! :)

My Big Girl Purchase

SOOO, I made my first big girl purchase yesterday. Well, it's not paid in full, but you get the idea. I GOT A NEW CAR!! And if you knew me and knew what I was driving-- this is great news! It's an 04 Honda Civic, blue, 4 doors and I LOVE IT!!! I'm really excited. Not that I didn't appreciate having the Subaru to drive, but when you're in the middle of a heat wave and your car has no A/C-- it gets pretty rough! So, I'm super excited! I have good, reliable transportation and it's pretty too! :)

Here's a few pictures-- they're from the camera phone, so they're not the GREATEST quality, but they'll do!

I just love the lights!!

At a loss...

So, I don't know what to do. I am trying-- very hard-- to get things right in my life financially. But it seems to be the hardest thing I've done thus far. I need a car. I cannot continue to drive what I am driving, but I'm at a loss. Where do I go, what do I do, who can I talk to, who can I trust? It is a car dealerships job to make money, of course they are going to try and get everything they can from me-- but I don't know what to ask for, I don't know what fees are real and what they are just charging me for. And the worst part of it all is that I have NO ONE to help. I am completely blind going into this. I want my Honda! (Or at this point, any Honda) But, I need something! Don't get me wrong, I am very thankful that I was given this car to drive, but I need to do this-- I just wish I knew what I was doing!!

Simple Actions

Sometimes people can just push you away! Not all at once, but a daily thing! Their words, actions, and attitudes begin to slowly allow you to see their true colors! Until one day, being in their presence becomes unbearable.

The plus side to this is that it teaches you to watch yourself. To make sure you become a person that doesn't hurt people by their actions; a person that doesn't push people away.

Hello, Again!!

Hey there lovelies! Miss me? HA! JK!! I did miss writing and venting and getting feelings out, hence the reason I'm back. I've ha...
